WELCOME TO #ONHONORROLL
WHAT IS THE PROJECT?
#OnHonorRoll is a digital campaign and educational advocacy project to honor educators during the global pandemic. As we create a world, and especially a nation, that recognizes our contributions to society, we cannot discount or minimize how educators have created feelings of normalcy and routine for many families during the pandemic. Simultaneously, they have been honing their craft with new technology, taking care of their mental health, and teaching new content all while managing a global pandemic, protests and civil unrest for the unjust treatment of Black lives and now a riot at our Capitol. We want to amplify and elevate this message to the community at large, reminding us all of each educator’s impact, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Who is this campaign for?
Educators have been working diligently to keep families and communities running smoothly during the pandemic. In an effort to highlight this work, we want to honor them with recognizing some outstanding educators that have been exemplary in their craft and as humans on a national platform.
When is this happening?
This digital campaign will begin March 1, 2021 and run through March 31, 2021 to honor one year that teachers have been managing hybrid, in person and virtual learning models. Encourage your social media followers to nominate people you know!
How do I nominate someone?
Head over to that section by scrolling up and hitting “Nominate” on our menu! Then follow us on Instagram and Twitter for updates, and send our posts to our friends to nominate more educators to be #onhonorroll.
